IE7 Certificate Authority Installation Instructions
In order to use any of the Thomas & Betts secure websites, a Thomas
& Betts Certificate Authority has to be trusted by your browser. Microsoft®
Internet Explorer 7 requires a special process to accomplish this.
If you find yourself using IE7, please follow these instructions and
enjoy a wide range of features available to you on www.tnb.com.
Users of Microsoft® Windows™ who use IE6, Firefox or
Opera web browsers do not need to perform these steps, as they
are handled automatically by the browser.
Step 1
Click
Install Thomas and Betts Certificate Authority and follow these instructions as you proceed.

When presented a "Open or Save" dialog chose "Open".

After a brief download, you will see a window as shown above. When
ready to proceed, click "Install Certificates"

Click "Next >" to begin installation process.

Leave the defaults selected an click "Next >" to proceed.

A confirmation screen. Click "Finish" to complete installation.

Click "Yes" when asked if you want to install the certificate.

Click "OK" on the popup window informing you that the import was successful.
Step 9
Click "OK" in the Certificate window to dismiss it.
Congratulations! You've completed the installation of Thomas & Betts Certificate Authority. You are now ready to utilize the full power and security of Thomas & Betts website.
