The Anx Wi-free system comprises a set of detection and alarm devices equipped with radio base sections. These communicate with an interface unit mounted according to the radio survey.

The interface unit is wired into an Anatec analogue addressable system. A fire condition or fault is communicated from the radio devices to the interface for relay to the analogue panel, where it is registered. The radio device address is recognised by the panel as if it were a device wired on the loop.
