Electrical

From the earliest days of electrification over 100 years ago, Thomas & Betts has been a leader in providing products for commercial and industrial construction, industrial plant maintenance, repair and operation, electrical utility distribution, communications and original equipment manufacturing. We offer one of the broadest product lines in the electrical industry, supplying over 70 percent of the items used in a typical electrical application. More than 6,000 electrical, industrial, specialty and retail distributors stock and sell Thomas & Betts products in their communities.

Emergency Lighting

With various strong brands T&B is a leading supplier of emergency lighting products in USA, Canada, Australia, Europe and Middle East. In each of those area's T&B has many years experience with the development and production of high quality emergency lighting products tuned to the local legislation and market requirements. T&B offer a wide range of products from self contained - and slave luminaires to battery packs and central power supply sources.

Electronic System Protection

Our Furse Electronic Systems Protection (ESP) range offers protection against transient over-voltages or surges that can disrupt or damage equipment via mains power, data, signal, and telephone and RF lines. Manufactured and tested to relevant international standards, the comprehensive ESP range can easily be applied to a variety of systems to ensure continuous operation of critical electronic equipment against lightning and switching-borne transients or surges.

Earthing & Lightning Protection

Our Furse Lightning protection is manufactured in accordance with the Faraday Cage principal of lightning protection as accepted by all national and international standards. The Furse lightning protection range covers flat, solid circular and cable and wire systems, which includes air terminals, bases and clamps for the air termination network and an extensive range of down conductors and fixings.

Furse Earthing includes all the materials and methods of connection necessary for an effective earthing system, including earth rods and plates, clamps, inspection pits and compression connectors.

Furse also manufactures and supplies the Furseweld exothermic welding system, which is a quick, easy and portable on-site welding system used in connecting copper conductors in earthing installations.

Thomas & Betts is a global provider of commercial and industrial heating and ventilation products. Since 1888, our ReznorŪ brand of products have been found worldwide in warehouses, factories, office buildings, convention halls, schools, hotels, churches and many other locations where space heating or conditioning outside air for ventilation is required.

Our reputation for quality and innovative products has helped customers worldwide further improve manufacturing efficiencies and lower energy costs. We provide proprietary software that simplifies the product selection process by analyzing the heating and cooling needs of a building based on size, use, environment and many other factors. Over one-third of our products are custom-engineered to support the climate control requirements of a specific building.

We serve customers through an exclusive network of HVAC, mechanical and refrigeration distributors.

We offer our distributor partners real-time electronic data interchange (EDI) so that orders can be sent, received within minutes of being placed. T&B Access™ offers our distributors the most comprehensive and user-friendly web support tools available so they can more easily serve our end customers-electricians, contractors and consumers.
